The Mycelium Institute for Agency emerged in response to a profound moment of social and political transformation. As traditional coalitions fractured and familiar institutions faltered, we recognized the urgent need for new approaches to organizing and building power.
Born from the recognition that times of breakdown contain the seeds of breakthrough, we established Mycelium as a nimble, future-oriented 501c3 vehicle designed to build capacity and seed space for what comes next.
Just as mycelium networks in nature connect individual organisms into a resilient ecosystem, our institute was formed to connect isolated efforts into powerful new alignments. We've grown into a trusted vehicle for experimentation, providing both visible and behind-the-scenes support for emerging strategies that don't fit traditional models.
